Small World is a zany light-hearted civilization game in which 2-5 players vie for conquest and control of a board that is simply too small to accommodate them all.
Players create combinations from a selection of 14 different fantasy races and 20 unique special powers that they can use to expand their empires across one of the 4 Small World board maps. Yet they must also know when to push their own over-extended civilization into decline and ride a new one to victory.
Small World's design emphasizes the playful fantasy theme with rich details and components that beg to be played.

This game is great!!! Always a different game when you play and the expansions make an even more diverse game!! one of the best strategy game I have played to date.

Loved the game! One of my friends brought it over to play last night. It's very fun, with plenty of strategy but without all the rules complexities that tend to bog down some other games. It's a strategy game like Risk without all the crazy dice rolling (in fact, there's almost no dice rolling at all), and it's also SO much faster. My wife normally doesn't like strategy games much at all, but she loved it, and she even won. We're both looking forward to playing it again. It's also cool because it has different maps for the number of players in the game (2-5).
