To quote the designers, Wasabi is "a silly little game about makin' sushi." It is playable by 2-4 players who try to lay their ingredient tiles to make sushi rolls matching the recipe cards they draw. Bonus points are awarded if you can make your recipe "with style" (in the exact order that the ingredients are laid out on the card). The game rewards concentration, forward planning and a bit of luck as the ingredients may not be where you expect them to be when your next turn comes around! The game art is outstanding - the colours are bold and the ingredients look good enough to eat. People see this game and immediately want to play it! The game comes with great details such as little bowls to hold the wooden wasabi cubes, player screens that look like restaurant menus and whimsically titled recipes that all add to the fun.
