Four diseases have broken out in the world and it is up to a team of specialists in various fields to find cures for these diseases before mankind is wiped out.
Players must work together, playing to their characters' strengths and planning their strategy of eradication before the diseases overwhelm the world with ever-increasing outbreaks. For example, the Operation Specialist can build research stations, which are needed to find cures for the diseases. The Scientist needs only 4 cards of a particular disease to cure it instead of the normal 5.
But the diseases are out breaking fast and time is running out: the team must try to stem the tide of infection in diseased areas while also towards cures.
A truly cooperative game where you all win or you all lose.

The best cooperative game out there. Always a different game. Great mix of difficulty levels if you crack "easy-mode". Be sure to grab the expansion for everything (including a competitive mode). Non-gamers will enjoy it too.

Can you succeed as part of a crack team of medical experts trying to save the world from outbreaks of 4 deadly diseases? Play Pandemic to find out! A truly cooperative game, Pandemic plays with 2-4 players who each take on a role as part of the team (Medic, Scientist, Operations Expert, Researcher or Dispatcher.) Each character has his or her own special ability that they contribute to the task. Players collect cards and move their tokens around a map of the world in an attempt to find cures for the diseases before epidemics and outbreaks make their objective impossible. This game is as cooperative as it gets - the players need to coordinate their actions and work together as things can get out of hand pretty quickly. The players have only one way to win while they have 3 ways to lose so winning can be infrequent but is that much more a reason to celebrate when the team does win!

Great game to play with your non-gaming significant other especially if she is ultra competitive. Its completely co-operative and the variation in role's and start up of the board makes for a different game every time.
